New Trikke area's to ride.

So I've been able to bring up my game. I found a industrial area near my house that has a road that's a quarter of a mile in length, so If I do 4 rotations that's a mile. The other day I did 2 1/2 miles. I'm going to try this a few times a week.

Also I found a free Android app for distance tracking. Its good for walkers, bicyclist, trikkers. I'll tell you your average speed and how many calories you've burned. It has voice support and social support, and runs on everything ;)  http://www.endomondo.com/login

LSM event was attended.

I went to my first Trikking event put on by SouthBay Trikkes. There was 45 people in attendance and I met some wonderful people and made lots of friends. The event had a demo\training course in the parking lot, with a quick circle run around the boardwalk. Afterwords there was a course that was 10 miles and I was able to do a little over a quarter of it. I'm looking forward to more group events and pushing myself to go farther.

Trikker Friends

Well I picked up my second Trikke Saturday, so now I have a Trikke and AJ has my first one and I was able to find a used T78Air Trikke on Craigslist for $100 which Becky purchased. (Which will be alot better for her knees, than say a regular bike).
I've been finding Trikke friends on a dissuasion board and Sunday had my first ride for an hour at the near by Industrial Park. I was able to get some good riding tips and now have a new friend.
The middle school is out and there parking lot is ideal for riding on, I'm going to try 3 days a week to get some good exercise in. I'll keep you posted.

1st weekend Trikke adventure.

I went out this weekend and rode my new Trikke. I started on my backyard patio (40 yard stretch), but it was to hard to get continuous movement. Especially after making a turn which killed my momentum. I decided to take it down the street on a 12 percent downhill grade. (It helped alot) I would say I came really close to hitting the "sweet spot". I did that for half an hour and got a nice workout riding down hill and walking up.
The next day I went over to the industrial center near me and found a really long straight and slightly inclined driveway\loading dock. I carved that think for an hour and am really felling like I'm starting to "get it". A few things I need to work on: 1. I trust my right lean, but not my left on so much. 2. I don't think I'm leaning forward as much as I should because the front tire doesn't come off the ground, but skids somewhat. 3. I trust my right lean, but my left leg fells like I'm not extending my weight on the outside of my foot. I'm improving with every ride and I'll get there!

On the 18th of JUNE I plan on purchasing a T78CS Deluxe for myself (my second) and giving my TRIKKE I have now to my son he's 12 and I'm looking forward to having him ride with me.

Here's to TRIKKING rock n roll !!
