I went out this weekend and rode my new Trikke. I started on my backyard patio (40 yard stretch), but it was to hard to get continuous movement. Especially after making a turn which killed my momentum. I decided to take it down the street on a 12 percent downhill grade. (It helped alot) I would say I came really close to hitting the "sweet spot". I did that for half an hour and got a nice workout riding down hill and walking up.
The next day I went over to the industrial center near me and found a really long straight and slightly inclined driveway\loading dock. I carved that think for an hour and am really felling like I'm starting to "get it". A few things I need to work on: 1. I trust my right lean, but not my left on so much. 2. I don't think I'm leaning forward as much as I should because the front tire doesn't come off the ground, but skids somewhat. 3. I trust my right lean, but my left leg fells like I'm not extending my weight on the outside of my foot. I'm improving with every ride and I'll get there!
On the 18th of JUNE I plan on purchasing a T78CS Deluxe for myself (my second) and giving my TRIKKE I have now to my son he's 12 and I'm looking forward to having him ride with me.
Here's to TRIKKING rock n roll !!
